Playing Pickleball is a fun way to move your body, meet new people, make new friends and keep your brain young (anyone know what the score is? LOL!) There are many Pickleball fanatics in the Park Rapids Area and we all love sharing this addictive game with others.
The best time to try out Pickleball is in the summer when there are many courts open to learn to dink that ball around and the Club offers free beginner lessons all summer to Club Members.
In the winter your best chance to learn is to sign up for Menahga or Nevis Community Ed. Go to their websites to find the information. You can probably go once to try it out before you sign up. They don't provide paddles so you will need to have a paddle when you come. (Park Rapids currently does not offer indoor Pickleball).
Another option would be to contact the Club through our website and ask for local instructor contacts if you would like to take a private lesson to get started.
It might also be a good idea to watch some instructional Youtube videos to learn some of the basics before you come to play. People will teach them to you on the court but its maybe nice to have heard some of the terminology before.
Hope to see you on the court!
